We'll never win a war!

several years ago, osama bin laden said the United States was a paper tiger. he said that, when the going got a little tough, the United States would lose it's will. he believed we would become discouraged and give up.
gasp! that could never happen! not in our America! where in the world would he get an idea like that?
i don't know, maybe from our lunatic left and their adoring media? after a brief, and almost painful show of support for our troops, they've managed to slither back to their Bush-bashing, America-hating ways.
of course, they really do love and support our troops, but just hate the war. and i love football players, but hate football. yeah, right. our men and women in uniform aren't buying it either.
our military doesn't lose wars! not even in vietnam! no, it takes the loony left and our arrogantly liberal media to really rescue defeat from the jaws of victory. sad to say, but many of these people want our country lose the war in iraq! winning this war would make George Bush look good and that would be totally unacceptable.
as long as these people put the interests of their own political party and their own political power over the interests of this great country, the United States will never win another war. never.

Raise the Minimum Wage?

raise the minimum wage?... right.
think about it folks. do you really think the guys up the wages latter will be ok with that?
anybody making $10 per hour, and so on, will be very unhappy when they suddenly find themselves making only $3 more than minimum wage. they're going to want more money.
raising the minimum wage gives everyone else a big, fat pay cut!
so, before long, all labor costs go up. next, of course, the cost of products go up. now wages go up, but the cost of living also goes up.
the result? the bar raises for everyone and the poor minimun wage employee ends up just as poor at $7 per hour as he was at $5 per hour.
so, the result is that the liberal politicians will look like heros, when they are actually accomplishing nothing.
raise the minimum wage? it's just an illusion.

Illegals - Doing Jobs Americans Won't Do? Bull !

facts is that americans WILL do all those jobs, but they won't do them for below market wages.
i, personally, would be very willing to pay more for a head of lettuce or whatever product if it means higher wages for americans.
if businesses didn't use illegal immigrants, the product cost would go up some and life would go on just as usual.
it's time to deport illegal immigrants and punish / fine businesses that hire illegal immigrants!
once the hiring of illegal immigrants costs the business more than it saves, just maybe they'll quit hiring these illegal immigrants and they won't have as much reason to cross our border.

Immigration - Politians Completely Out of Touch!

it's plain and simple. americans want their borders secure even to the point of building a wall all along the mexican border. we also want illegal aliens/immigrants deported whenever possible.
our politicians see these illegal aliens as a potential new pool of voters. both major parties are showing that they are more concerned about a win for their party then they are for the wishes of the LEGAL citizens of this country.
let's open our eyes. this is not immigration, this is an invasion by a foreign country!

Illegal Immigration

what part of the word "illegal" do our politicians and liberal friends not understand?
our country has been invaded by as many as 25 million hispanics/mexicans who have no interest in being americans. they snub their noses at our laws and then have the nerve to tell us that they are not criminals. they are most definitely criminals!
by giving them amnesty we are only inviting another 11 million plus illegals to invade. and why shouldn't they? our elected officials don't have the courage to send them back or to build a wall to keep future criminals out.
will our politicians turn their backs on the millions of LEGAL citizens who want our borders protected? probably.
